Official ceremony in New York recognizes long-term partnership

New York, USA - Dudelange, Luxembourg — During a special ceremony on October 20th at the Lighthouse / Pier 61 in New York, Husky Injection Molding Systems received the 2010 Luxembourg American Business Award from the Luxembourg American Chamber of Commerce.

John Galt, Husky’s President and CEO, accepted the award from H.R.H. Crown Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg during an event attended by several dignitaries including Mr. Jeannot Krecké, Minister of the Economy and Foreign Trade, Luxembourg.

“We first established our roots in Luxembourg in 1985 and have maintained a long and healthy relationship that has lasted for more than 25 years. It is this relationship that has allowed our presence, not only in Luxembourg but throughout all of Europe, to flourish and we look forward to the continued success as a result of this ongoing partnership,” said Mr. Galt. “On behalf of Husky, I can say that it is truly a privilege to be awarded the Luxembourg American Chamber of Commerce Business Award.”

Established in 1999, the award is presented every two years to recognize special and longstanding relationships between a North-American corporation and Luxembourg.  The company’s trade and business impact with Luxembourg is a consideration as well.
